Are you a budding amateur photographer?   Do you love Shropshire?   Then send us a photo that tells us what Shropshire means to you!

An exciting competition has been launched by a team from Shropshire Council who are using their spare time to raise money for The Prince’s Trust. The competition is a photography competition, entitled ‘What Shropshire Means to Me’ and it is looking for innovative and exciting photographs that capture the essence of Shropshire to the individual.

The 12 winning entries will then be published in a 2011 calendar that promotes the beauty of Shropshire to all, both within and outside the county. The money raised from the sales of the calendar will go directly to the Prince’s Trust in the West Midland’s, helping tackle the problems facing young people within the area. The closing date is on the 1st October 2010.
